## Design

- Every character is 1280 units wide, which is 0.625 em.
- Characters that look alike are drawn apart. The zero has a bar, the 1 has a long flag, i, l and j have flags, and the capital I has serifs.
- Code ligatures for ->, =>, !=, == and >= are off until you turn on dlig, and every character keeps its own cell.
- The 160 box-drawing and block characters from U+2500 to U+259F are drawn to join across lines.
- The f, t and r keep their stems and stretch their arms into the cell.
- The crossbar of the f keeps 0.18 of the cell to the left of its stem at every weight.
