## Design

- Each serif reaches 0.65 of a stem past the stroke, and its thickness is 0.6 of the H crossbar's thickness.
- A short bracket joins the back of the serif to the side of the stroke, so the serifs of diagonals meet the diagonal.
- The top of a lowercase stem takes a triangular serif.
- The arms of E, F, L, T and Z end in short vertical serifs.
- The level cuts of c, a and s stay as they are in Katagami Text.
- Each point keeps its x coordinate and moves 30 percent of the way to its height in the next lighter weight. This makes horizontals thinner than stems.

## Web setup

Link the stylesheet, then set the family. Each script is its own file, so a page loads only the scripts it shows.

```html
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://katagami.kevinliu.studio/fonts/katagami.css">
```

```css
body { font-family: "Katagami Serif", system-ui, sans-serif; }
```

You can also [download the fonts](https://katagami.kevinliu.studio/download). `KatagamiSerif[wght].ttf` is one variable file with every weight.
